If your only looking at World War movies then some of the best would be:
- Apocalypse Now
- Saving Private Ryan
- Black Hawk Down
- Pearl Harbor (mainly because of a running joke with friends)
- Enemy at the Gates

But if your looking at everything then you can't got wrong with Braveheart.

Also I have a friend that is obsessed with Hill 60 which is a pretty good movie as well.
