I saw Sucker Punch last night and that just has to be a 12 year old director on that movie!
rock song-covers playing while the movie turns into a music video all the time and the girls all look like they just arrived from the playboy mansion and action with ninjaswords and guns ^^

All of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies except the first one. It started out great -- funny, quirky, a bit silly, good action but not too heavy. And then the series went "OMFG guyz we r a major motion pittchur franchise" and started taking itself waaaaaay too seriously. And since then all of them have sucked and yet they keep making money. I don't get it.

More than one movie has failed me. ^ The POTC series has been dragging on as stated above.
And Avatar: The Last Airbender was horrid. I quite liked the show....but the movie......

Dragonball Evolution.

I was going to leave after the first 15 seconds of the movie had gone by.  I am not joking.  I went with a group of friends to see it, though, and we happened to be the only group in the theatre.  Again...I am not joking.  It was our group of 7 people in an otherwise entirely empty theatre.

Just thinking about it makes me angry.

honestly, the only movies that i care about nowadays are the ones that aren't advertised. there are way too many independently-made films out there that are incredibly good that never see the light of day due to the hype-and-advertising nature of the film industry.
