Might not qualify for a movie, it's more like a series. But it's very game-related.

Those guys are making an Splinter Cell series, on YouTube. It's quite awesome.
Only one episode (and some trailers etc.) so far, but if they keep it up, it's more
than worth waiting for.

Truly enjoyed SILENT HILL as a movie.  I felt I was there with Rose when she was running around in the streets and the alleyways.

As for what I think is necessary in future video game movies?  Best of both worlds when it comes to SPECIAL EFFECTS.

ACTORS NEED SOMETHING TO RE-ACT TO.  Silent Hill did this.  You wanna see good SPECIAL EFFECTS with little CGI, watch THE THING [1982] with
Kurt Russell.....now that was well done.  You could see the visceral reaction of the actors when shit hit the fan.

Anyway....I want more of that.
