I've been thinking about this for a while now, so here it is.  Have you ever ever listened to the final song in an album and think, "That was a great way to end it"?  Post your favourite final tracks in an album (hidden tracks don't count) that you thought was a great way to end it.

My favourites are:
Metallica "The Outlaw Torn" (Load)
Avenged Sevenfold "Save Me" (Nightmare)
Linkin Park "The Little Things Give You Away" (Minutes to Midnight)
Kittie "The Truth" (In the Black)
There's more but I can't remember them right now.

lol dont worry about it man Cheesy i really like the end of "call of cthulu" the entire song is epic but the way they just built up the ending was simply immense and had alot of power behind it, and really left me wanting more Tongue

It's crazy how it works as a great ending and a great beginning.  "Call of Cthulu" was the first song they played in their "S&M" concert which led to "Master of Puppets" and those two combined built up a LOT of energy IMO.

As for the topic, I remembered another great album closer:
Metallica "Fixxxer" (Reload)  It has a similar structure to "The Outlaw Torn", but it still sounds badass.

I saw this topic and immediately thought of Symphony X. The "Revaltion (Divus Pennae Ex Tragoedia)" which is the ending song to their album "paradise Lost" is great. I love that they use material from the first song of the album at the very end which, while not exactly a new concept, is freaking cool when done well. Definitely had a rock out moment when I first noticed it.
