Following in the words of everyone else here, thank you very much Skorch82. I've had FRAPS since back around version 1 or something like that and never really put it to use. I've been planning on doing Let's Plays but I needed a better PC. My new  PC (specs in signature) should allow me to get some high-def footage without severe frame issues.

In any case, expect to see some LPs from me and thank you for the tutorial.

Thanks a bunch, Skorch82! Really helped, I paid for FRAPS a loooong time ago and tried it out but then put it away. I didn't know the new version supports voice-over, that's actually super neat.

So what kinds of editing softwares would you recommend, that's simple and easy to use, while also gives you the features you need to make a good, high-quality video? Apart from MovieMaker, that is.

Majority use Audacity and fraps to do this on XP. There are some tutorials in this forum.
