I agree with Elfen Lied and Hellsing, very good animes. (Both version of Hellsing, the original 13 episodes series and the new, closer to the manga "Hellsing Ultimate" OVAs.)
I liked Beck, Trigun, Tenjho Tenge, Gantz, Neon Genesis Evangelion, The Vision of Escaflowne, Onegai Teacher, X, Gungrave (this one reminded me of Hellsing a lot, and I really loved it), Grenadier.
I hope this little list can help you chose.

Yes, Dragon Ball(which I thought was better, but not as epic as DBZ) and Dragon Ball Z But one I forgot to bring up, which I don't know if it has been or not, is Eureka 7. Which I truly liked. It was the only anime I ever watched that brought some tears to my eyes at the end :'( And it was also decent in action, and great in story. |
