I wasn't alive in the 80's but I was some in the 90's
In the early 21st century they still showed some of the shows.
I have to say they were much better.
Now they just try too hard to make shows entertaining.

I miss all the 90s shows that use to be on nick and cartoonnetwork.
Favorites: Hey Arnold, Doug, Courage, etc.
I hardly watch those channels now because the shows make me feel that my intelligence is slowly draining away.

-Doug
-The Angry Beavers
Just to name a few.

Also the game shows.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog/Sonic Underground - still watch them along with Super Mario bros. on Pop sometimes lol.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - They've raped and pillaged this show since it changed it's name from Mighty Morphin to w/e it is now.
Dragonball Z - I'll admit to owning all the movies and episodes in the new format. Just waiting for the last 4 seasons of Dragonball.
Ed, Edd n Eddy, Cow and Chicken, Dexters Laboratory, "insert cartoon network show here".
And finally not forgetting....
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air - I still think this is Will Smith at his best. I watch this most lunch times on Virgin, and even if the humour is from another culture i.e. ancient xD, I never fail to laugh at Carlton and Will.

I miss Batman the Animated Series and Gargoyles. I loved the art style and the mature storylines and writing. It really set it apart from other cartoons at the time. I also liked the original transformers along with Beast Wars.

I do agree Nick ruled with there shows

I miss Toonami now there was a kick-ass line up of shows!  Grin It featured good anime and good humor itself as a CG but eventually Cartoon Network raped and pillaged it becasue they turned Tom into a freaking weird-ass robot and gave him freak-ass other robots.  :'( Kiss BRING BACK TOONAMI FROM THE '90S YOU CARTOON NETWORK BASTARDS

M.A.S.K was so great.  The only problem is watching it now I wonder about my nostalgia.
