Well the Zombie movies have been done over and over again, and 95% of them suck.

But I would have to agree, Zombieland is my favorite.

Dawn of the Dead remake. Oh, yes. Actually, a good horror remake for once.

Dawn of the Dead, Shaun of the Dead or Resident Evil 1.

"serious" one : Dawn of the dead, the original, not the 2004 failed attempt at remaking it.
"funny" one : Shaun of the dead.
"B Movie" one : Planet Terror (can fit in the funny section as well)

Aca, thats Night of the Living Dead you must be talking about. Dawn of the Dead was relased in -78. On the other hand Night of the Living Dead was released on -68.
I myself enjoy all Romeros zombie films, but also indie films. Such as Anti-Theaters Vertakoski zombie movies. Those are cheap, but very well done movies.
I have accually never saw 28 serie movies. I should check those out when i get a chance.

You actually like Land of the Dead?
I thought it was one of the worst movies that I have ever seen, if not THE worst.

I have seen 28 days later and only half of 28 weeks later (Blame megavideo), they are alright, I find them different and I didn't like the ending third of the first film. But still, I think they are zombie-movie milestones none the less.
