What's your favorite band from back in the day? I like Pink Floyd the most. My favorite song is Us and them and from their 1990's album the wall is Goodbye Blue sky. Whats yours?

Pink Floyd would be up there, I mean the wall was a masterpiece. If you have seen the movie, then you can appreciate it even more. But my favorites are some that already have been mentioned, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin. There is also Van Halen, Jimmy Hendrix, and Boston.
But my favorite would have to be Led Zeppelin, there music is just absolutely amazing.

Iron Maiden began in the mid-70's. SO them. (their first album was in 1980)
If they don't count, then Led Zeppelin.
