I think that George Harrison was one of the best lyricists, at least of the Beatles if not of all time, but that's just me.

But my favourite is Steve Harris.  The Bassist and Founder/main lyricist of Iron Maiden.

The best lyricist is B.o.B to me because his song,  Airplanes is the best example. Because if you sing it. Its like, you can learn it in 1 day. It was the first song I ever rapped. And yeah. I actually suggest B.o.B more then Eminem. Because B.o.B is amazing at songs. For example is his form of rap. He does it fast... slow... and some times confusing... But still examples are like Airplanes, Beast Mode, Nothin On You, and Magic.
